The amazing Tamia is this
week at #123 with 13.000 copies sold bringing "Between Friends" to a
total of 31.000 (she sold 18.000 in the first week adn debuted at #66).
A lot of people were saying that it's a flop and that it's a shame she
wasn't number 1. Well, we all know she deserves the top spot cus she is
indeed the best of the best! But don't forget that the girl is doing it
via her own label, and I know I said it a million times but I'll keep
on saying it. I would've never thought that she'd debut in the top 100!
I mean, look at her career, only one gold album and she can do it!
Other artists who tried to go independent failed like Shanice, who had
more success than Tamia before going indie, and sold just 5.000 copies
in the first week with her latest release "Every Woman Dreams" back in
January.
And now that xmas are coming, sales will pick up, and I'm sure that
Between Friends will hit 100k! I think that this means that Tamia has
real fans, she may have not sold millions with Electra and Atlantic,
but she has a loyal fan base! I already ordered my copy from Amazon and
I'm impatiently waiting for it! SO if you didn't grab yours, do it now!
According to some
sources, the second single will be "Me". The song is a leftover from
her unreleased album Still. I still don't know if I agree with the
choice. I mean, there are better songs on the album and "The Way I Love
You" or "Too Grown" are radio friendly jams. But
"Me" is an amazing ballad, and kinda similar to her biggest hit to date "Stranger In My House".
Yesterday I decided to
check an album I bought some time ago. Kieran's debut "Breathe" is a
mix of R&B club bangas and ballads. It includes production from
Scott Storch, Jazze Pha, Johnta Austin and Makeeba Riddick. I already
posted about him when I posted his album. I don't know what I said of
the album back in the day cus I had listened to it just once maybe.
Well, now I can say that the shit is pretty weak. His voice doesen't
sound good at all, and I feel I heard it all before...nothing fresh.
There are some good tracks...but even the Scott Storch produced song
sounds bad. He's now working on a follow up album, so I wish him the
best and suggest putting a little more effort next time
Introducing Natasha
During her junior year in high school, while working at a Subway
sandwich shop, Natasha was introduced to Grammy Award-winning super
producer Rodney Jerkins. Making up routines and dancing to videos in
the mirror prepared her for an amazing audition for Jerkins. After
seeing her sing and dance just once, Jerkins invited Natasha to his
Darkchild studio to record what would ultimately become her first two
smashes, "So Sick" and "Hey Hey Hey." A short time later she was signed
to Jive Records through Jerkins' Darkchild Entertainment.
"I've never seen a new artist like Natasha," says Jerkins.
"She's already doing things that it took a decade for more established
artists to learn."
"This is a dream come true for me," beams Natasha. After years
of dancing in the family room of her parents' Galloway, NJ home she
finally puts her moves to work in her debut video for "Hey Hey Hey."
Currently a senior in high school Natasha is excited to rep for the
Class of 2007 as she begins her career as a recording artist!
Wow! Sounds strange...you come across Darkchild and suddenly he invited you to perform he he.
She has the looks and her voice is nice. That song Hey Hey Hey is what
you wouldn't expect to hear in a first single, I hope she success! I
can't stop looking at that pic she's soo hot!
Well, go to her space and check the video for Hey Hey Hey plus the
audio for So Sick (Featuring Clipse). I hate So Sick, I really dunno
what Darkchild was thinking when he produced that song...

Nivea is back ya’ll. After parting ways
with Jive Records, she decided to make it on her own and go independent (a la Tamia and Shanice). The new album is titled Animalistic (she
always comes up with weird titles) and was released in Japan last week. The Us
version of the album will have more tracks plus collaborations with T-Pain and
Pitbull as well as productions from her husband The Dream and Bryan Michael
Cox. First single (in Japan) "Watch It" is pretty bad in my opinion, the song is
not original and not so catchy and the video looks cheaper than a Windows Movie
Maker project he he.
Anyways, the us single will be Hood Girl
according to Niveafan, and the remix will include Missy and Lil’ Kim, so we can
expect a hotter video for that song. Tracks that will make it to the States
edition include Black Girl, Watch It and Animalistic. I don’t know what to
expect from the album, Watch It is wack but so far she did impress me with her
music.
Complicated was an amazing album, too bad
it didn’t get the regocnition and sales it deserved. But when a label refuses
to promote an artist, nothing can be done. Parking Lot and Complicated (the
strongest song on the album) were supposed to be 2nd and 3rd official singles, but end up being just radio
singles. The album had a lot of hot tracks and collaborations with Lil’ Jon,
Jermaine Dupri, The Dream, Rasheeda, R.Kelly among others.
Can someone please send me Animalistic?! I'd be soooo happy!

What’s up with Heather Headley? Is she
alive or what? A gold certified album, 2 singles, only 1 video. Now it seems
that a third single is coming…according to Monicamania and other sources “Am I Worth It” it’s the third
and final single of the album while Wikipedia notes that the Lil’ Jon produced
“Back When It Was” is the third and final. One thing we’re almost sure is…that
there will be only 3 singles. I just hope she at least shoots a video for the
song, I don’t know why she didn’t do it for Me Time cus the song was a Top 40
hit without a video. Silly decisions, but I guess it’s the label fault. Maybe
the third and final single means she’s already in the studio and planning to
release a new album in 2007…but who knows?

SEBASTIAN
TAKEN FROM HIS MY SPACE
Sebastian Mego is a true singer who considers Marvin Gaye, Donny
Hathaway and Stevie Wonder his strongest influences. At only 17 years
old, Sebastian was recently signed to Sony Urban Music/Columbia
and is currently working on his debut album with some of the hottest
writers and producers in the industry including Robbie Nevil, Eric
Hudson, Midi Mafia and Troy Johnson, to name just a few.
His good looks and talent, not only as a real singer, but as a great
dancer and live performer, have garnered Sebastian the opportunity to
perform with Stevie Wonder at his House Full of Toys concert and on his latest album A Time To Love,
sing the National Anthem at a Lakers game and Davis Cup, appear on Star
Search and sing and act in several national TV commercials. Sebastian
also lent his voice to TV One where his music was featured on the
promotional spots for the Martin Luther King miniseries King, which
helped launch the network.
During Sebastians development, his roster of coaches and trainers
has been impressive. He has had vocal coaching from Lee Summers, Robert
Edwards, Nick Cooper and Seth Riggs, a legend in the industry. Seth
often comments that Sebastian is able to do things vocally at age 16
that most great singers couldnt do until they were twice his age. He is
currently studying voice with Rachel Riggs.
It is Sebastians goal, and the goal of Sony Urban Music/Columbia,
to introduce the world to its next rising star. With great looks and an
amazing voice, Sebastian is not only destined for stardom, but is
already carving his niche as an artist whose voice will withstand the
test of time.
Her name is Andie and
she's another R&B artist from my country (Argentina). She posted a
new song on her My Space named "Scream" produced by Say (who also
provides his rap to the track). I'm not feeling the track so much, but
I do look forward to her debut album coming in 2007. I really liked the
songs that were in her demo from 2002. They are "Corazon de Piedra"
(Heart Of Stone) "It's Like" and "Simula" (Pretend). Her sound was more
pop oriented by that time but the tracks are hot and she has a strong
voice. If you want to check those tracks go to her space.

 Do
you remember ISSYS, a 4 member girl R&B group who had some success
with their single Day + Night Featuring Jadakiss and released their
album The Way We Do It back in 2002. Well, they appareantly splited and
were dropped (they were in Arista) but one of the girls (Quierra, pink
trousers in the middle) went solo. She's not signed to any label yet,
but she's analyzing which one suits her the best (according to her).
Well, I was supposed to post the link to her "My Space",
but I just found out that her account was closed! Damn! Anyways, as a
gift, you can download their debut album "The Way We Do It" 01) Intro 02) That's The Way We Do It 03) Day + Night FEATURING JADAKISS WATCH VIDEO 04) Holla At Me 05) Oh No She Didn't 06) Na Na Na 07) Stood Up 08) Hater 09) Single For The Rest Of My Life WATCH VIDEO 10) Uh Uh, Uh Uh 11) Not Letting Him Go 12) Beautiful U 13) Message 2 U 14) The Way We Do (Part 2) 15) Unlady Like 16) Thank U Lord (Outro) 17) Day + Night DOWNLOAD Amazing amazing amazing! I knew it was going to be hot, and I decided to check it last week even though here in Argentina
it was released a couple of months ago. All the tracks are amazing and
have it's own style. She's a mix between pop, jazz, sometimes soft
rock, hip-hop and R&B. I remember once I saw her performing and she
was so good to the point that it sounded better live than in the studio
he he. Her second album (self-titled) was amazing, I saw it last week
for just 2 dollars but I don't know why I didn't buy it, maybe since I
played it so much that I got tired of it and don't mind to have the
original copy. Anyways, I know I'll end up getting it cus she deserves
my money he he. This is the cover for Eamon's second album which was already released in Europe
and includes the amazing song (How Could You) Bring Him Home. He
improved a lot, I only knew Fuck It and last week I saw his album for
just 2 dollars (I think I'm very lucky lately) and bought it. The album
is weak, his voice is not so strong and the production (mostly handled
by Milk Dee is average). But I'm definetly giving him a chance with the
second album. And
speaking of 2 dollars album, I bought along with Eamon's TLC's 3D.
Fantastic album by the way. Maybe TLC would never do a bad album, a lot
of upbeat jams plus top producers involved (Darkchild, Raphael Saadiq,
The Neptunes, Dallas Austin & more). Best tracks? Can't tell yet
cus I only listened to it once. Yes I know that if I like R&B I
should've checked that shit before.. but I got into R&B in 2003 and still can't say that Crazysexycool was my journey with no back to the land of R&B he he. Enjoy Dan

Hey, I'm here sittin' on the job. I gotta make this entry very quickly cus my boss can catch me he he.

Jeannie Ortega will release the reggaeton song "It's R Time" as the third single from her debut album "No Place Like Brooklyn". Ya'll must be wondering what the hell happened to the amazing Soulshock produced song "So Done". Well, according to Jeannie, the promotion of the song is not over, and it will be promoted after "It's R Time". The real deal is that she had the opportunity to shot a video for "It's R Time" cus the song is included in a movie soundtrack (can't remember the name by the way), but she said that she is not done with "So Done", so it's like a she traded second for third single. I knot it wasn't her choice though, cus "It's R Time" is not the best of the album, Green I'z need to be released!

The Black Eyed Peas are giving a show here in my city Buenos Aires (Argentina) today. They are the most important band performing in this festival (Ian Brown, The Rasmus, The Bravery and New Order are performing too). Also, national artists Apolo 11 (Hip-hop) and Benja (R&B) will be on stage. I'm not going cus I've never been a fan of t The BEP music but it's great to see urban artists coming down here. Other R&b and Hip-Hop acts who came here include Shaggy, Macy Gray, M.I.A, Dizzee Rascal, Erykah Badu and Wu Tang Clan.

Tamia's new video "Can't Get Enough" premiered yesterday! The video is not original, but it's nice and natural. She looks stunning and the song is amazing. Can't wait to put my hands on "Between Friends", which has 4 new songs added in the Usa edition. It's surprising that those new cuts haven't leaked yet. Go and buy the album! I will ask my sister's friend who is now in the Usa to bring it! I'm supporting Tamia 100%
I really hope she succeeds, the album was yesterday at #500 something in Amazon, I can see it selling around 30.000 copies in the first week, which is very good considering that she is doing it independently.
Second single? Mmm, I think I'd chose Too Grown For That. I know it's something we all heard before but it's definetly radio friendly.

I was just surfing in the
net, when I came across their myspace. I saw "Metro City" and that name
sounded familiar. Yes! I thought about it for a minute, and then I
rememembered that they were featured in Keyshia Cole amazing song

about them very soon, don't forget to check their space and their songs.

Latino? Yeah! Spanish singer Anna Velasco is the first artist signed to
this "new" label. After Pitbull and Diddy joined forces to give life to
Bad Boy Latino, and Wu Tang Latino signed some reggaeton artists, Ruff
Ryders made a smart move by signing this R&B beauty. There's no
word yet on producers, release date, singles...but we'll know more
about her for sure.

is a member of TACT (Tel Aviv City Team), the most important record
label from Israel, which is 100% urban music and includes rap artist
(and head of the label) Subliminal, known for his collaborations with
Wyclef Jean, Joe Budden and Miri Ben Ari. She released 2 singles so
far, and now she's recording her debut album! Check this song, it has

Hey crazy people! Sorry for the luck of updates, but
I've been very busy lately and I had the time to write something but I
was extremely tired. I'm going to start working on a new layout and
some new things for 2007! Stay tuned!
A lot of you were asking
for latin R&B! So here it is! I made a compilation with some of the
hottest music in the Spanish R&B scene. I wanted to create a cover
for it, but unfortunately my Photoshop is not working good, so, imagine
the cover he he!
Tracklisting:
01) DUELE (JEAN) - PUERTO RICO
02) CLAP YOUR HANDZ (NOTY KLEIN FEATURING ANDIE) - ARGENTINA
03) KAMASUTRA (ADASSA FEATURING PITBULL) - COLOMBIA
04) CONTRADICCIÓN (VANESSA) - ESPAÑA
05) ROMPEME (EMME) - ARGENTINA
06) PENSANDO EN TI (FRANKIE J) - USA
07) VAMO' A CHOCAR (JEAN) - PUERTO RICO
08) TE EXTRAÑO (BENJA) - ARGENTINA
09) SAY WHAT (NOTY KLEIN FEATURING LEPHT B) - ARGENTINA
10) NO TE ENTERAS (MUSSAS) - ESPAÑA
11) LO QUE HAGO POR TU AMOR (PAULA DEANDA) - USA
12) SEXY (TONY SANTOS)
13) MC SAY (SAY FEATURING NOTY KLEIN) - ARGENTINA

Do U know this girl? Her
name is Ayanna and a song from hers (Shake Ya Fatty) leaked some time
ago. Her album "Girl Talk" was released under Elese Entertainment and
she has A LOT of expierience in the music industry considering she is
"new" (worked with Dr Dre, Bryan Michael Cox, Bangladesh, The Corna
Boyz, Kwamé and more). Here you can download a 4 song sampler from her
debut cd.

CHECK MY SPACE
I've been rockin' to this
album for the past 2 weeks and it's fucking amazing! Dunno why it's
flopping so bad cus the shit is just hot! I always thought he was
amazing but his albums were just Ok to me, but Priceless is more upbeat
and energetic. There's not even 1 bad song, I'm keeping my fingers
crossed that if this album flops, he won't go back to the all-ballad
route, please! My favorites? Mmmm, I Ain't Trippin' is the best.. If He
Can't Be is what you wouldn't expect from him, and Daddy's Little Girl
is nice (and the second single).
I just listened to it
once but all I can say is that AKON IS BACK! I think he will make it
again with this joint cus he is bringin something new to the table. I
don't mean he is Mr. Fresh Sound, but he doing something that nobody's
doing. The song Mama Africa is amazing, I love it! He is expected to
sell between 300-350 k in the first week, go Akon!
After reading several
reviews, people telling her comeback was a flop, the Jermaine and
Virgin episode...I decided to check this. And I like it, it's not a
classic but I think she will never bring something bad. Damita Jo was
amazing in my opinion and this album is great too. Do It 2 Me is
addictive, So Excited is hot but I was expecting more of it, Call On Me
is average and shouldn't have been the 1st single. Other tracks I like
are Enjoy, Daybreak, Days Go By (sooo relaxing) and I don't remember
what more. I'm wondering why the hell she decided (or someone instead)
to leave the Kanye West produced songs off the album, stupid decission!

Scott Storch protegée
Brooke Hogan's debut album is nice too. Some songs sounds very similar
(Scott produced 8 or 9 tracks) but that doesen't make it bad. "Heaven
Baby" is a reggae jam, "For A Moment" is a nice ballad and Low Rider
Jeans is addictive (and similar to a Brooke Valentine's song in my
opinion). Collaborations include Nox (in a reggaeton song which is
unnecessary), Paul Wall (in the first single About Us) , Stack$ (hot
banger "Get Your Number") and Beenie Man ("Heaven Baby"). There's no
doubt that she is where she is because of her money (and father), but
she has a nice voice and has an idea of what music is, so...she won the
award of the Chick with money trying to sing (beating talentless Paris).

 Damn,
I came out late, this thing was supposed to be posted last week cus now
"Obvious" has been confirmed as the 3rd single, anyways, and as always
I'm keeping the original post.
Letoya's
3rd single will be either "This Song" or "Obvious", it seems she wants
to show the world that she can sing a ballad...I think it's time for
her to release an upbeat song. First it was "Torn" (I still can't get
into that song), and I thought: OK! She wants to be taken
seriously...Then "She Don't" followed. I wanted "Gangsta Grillz" to be
the second single cus it's one of her best songs. But I love "She
Don't" so I told myself I'd forgive her, he he. This time I really
wanted her to release an upbeat song "Gangsta Grillz" or "Tear Da Club
Up" as the 3rd single. Okay, "This Song" is a nice song, and one of my
favorites in her album (which by the way it's very good). I've been
rockin' to that album lately cus it's getting released here in Argentina
next month...so I want to make sure my money is worth it. "Obvious" is
just okay, kinda boring. The point is, that I can't understand why
she's chosing the ballad route again..."Torn" and "She Don't" didn't
put the charts on fire (Torn did get to #1 but only in R&B charts,
it was a top 30 hit in the Hot 100), so why not trying with a more
up-tempo jam? She
is extremely lucky that Capitol is promoting her the right way, cus she
sold like 165.000 albums and debuted at #1 in the first week. To date,
the cd shifted more than 450.000 copies.
 What
happened to Blu Cantrell?? I recently saw a pic of hers in Toya's World
and remembered how much I used to listen to her second album
"Bittersweet". Rumor has it that she signed with Image Entretainment
(Home label to Tamia). It's time for her to come back, some time ago a
track from her named "The Cha Cha" leaked and the video was included in
Yahoo Launch, but she said that the song was just a left-over from
previous sessions. I'm glad cus I hated it! There's no word on who she
is working with or if her 3rd album will be released next year. I hope
so cus it's been almost 3 years and a half since she released her last
album. I saw last week her album in a Hip-Hop shop here, but it was
kinda expensive for my pocket (around 26 dollars). I think it was not
the standard edition cus other albums like Nivea's or Truth Hurts' are
at 22. She's one of the best voices in R&B according to me
(alongside Amel and Tamia). There was not even 1 bad song on that
album, and the Shep Crawford produced "Sleep In The Middle" blew my
mind off! Other great tracks include the opening "I Love You", "Happily
Ever After" and "Let Her Go". Another
chick coming back is Sunshine Anderson. She was previously signed to
the (now defunct) label Soulife (yes, the same Anthony Hamilton was in)
and now she's back with World Music (Matthew Knowles' label) with
production from Dr. Dre, Raphael Saadiq and Beyoncé among others. Her
new single is "Something I Wanna Give You" and the video is out!
I bought her debut album "Your Woman" this year (for just 7,5 dollars,
extremely cheap for an imported album) and I liked it. The production
was mostly handled by Mike City
and Anthony Hamilton was featured in a track. She performed pretty
well, the album was certified gold (debuting in the top 5) and spawned
the 2 singles, the amazing "Heard It All Before" and "Launch Or
Dinner". Other tracks I like from "Your Woman" include "Letting Down My
Guard" and "Better Off" Does anybody know if Macy Gray
is still managing her career? Anyways, I took my time and uploaded her
debut album for you to download it! 01) A Little Sunshine (Intro) 02) Better Off 03) He Said, She Said 04) Heard It All Before 05) Vulnerability (Skit) 06) Letting Down My Guard 07) Where Have U Been 08) Saved The Day 09) Launch Or Dinner 10) Last Night FEATURING ANTHONY HAMILTON 11) Your Woman (Interlude) 12) Your Woman 13) Airport (Skit) 14) Being Away 15) Crazy Love 16) You Do You 17) Spoken Word (Skit) 18) A Little Sunshine DOWNLOAD Enjoy Dan

Hey! I'm back! Sorry for the luck of updates but I've been very busy...and lazy too! he he AHMIR SLOWLY GETTING TO THE TOP I
feel really happy for them. If you don't know them, I introduced their
first single "Welcome To My Party" in this blog some time ago. The song
did extremely well considering that it was released independently. I
think that it reached #5 in R&B/Hip-Hop single sales. Their album
is still in the works, but in the meantime you can download the album
sampler. Besides "Welcome To My Party", you will find the Rodney
"Darkchild" Jerkins produced (and featured) track "6 AM" and the ballad
"No Place Like Home". The only song missing is "The Wedding Song" which
also has a video (which is about to be released). If you want to know more about them, as well as watch part of the video, visit their space
Do you think they can be the next Jagged Edge?! I trully believe they
have power, and their voices are fiyah! Jagged Edge last album was a
huge FLOP (only 300.000 sold) so this is the perfect time for Ahmir to
rocket the charts! DOWNLOAD AHMIR SAMPLER MILA J'S PERSONALITY DUE IN NOVEMBER TUG
artist Mila J is releasing her long awaited (and delayed) debut album
"Split Personality" on November 7th. I remember when I first entered
her website, the original release date was June 20th...then September,
then October, and finally November! But it seems that it's official
this time around! They understood she wasn't gonna top the charts and
just decided on a release date. Producers in the album include The
Underdogs, Rufus Blaq and 17-year old debutant Cory Bold between others.
Here is the cover for the album, I don't like it, very simplish and
poorly edited (and she looks like if she'd smoken a lot of weed). And
the word Split Personality turns kinda unreadable, weird cus the album
title is supposed to be important. Tracklisting: 01) Wait A Minute 02) No More Complaining 03) Go Public 04) Better 05) Tell Me Where I'd Be 06) Good Lookin' Out FEATURING MARQUES HOUSTON 07) I've Been Hustled 08) Back In The Day 09) Things You Do 10) Are You Happy Now? 11) Complete 12) I'm Me FEATURING OMARION Mmm,
not very happy about the tracklisting..."I've Been Hustled"..WTF?! he
he...anyways, can't wait to hear the album...I like her sound... 12
tracks? What's the deal with the albums nowadays? Monica's 10 tracks
(that indeed schocked me) and a lot of long lenght albums in R&B.
12 tracks is OKAY, but I love 15 tracks (or more) for an album...I feel
like if you spend 15 dollars (25 pesos in my case) ayou should get more
than just 12 tracks...that's annoying. I put all of her songs in a
rar and made what we can call an album sampler...the tracks included
are Complete, Good Lookin' Out, I'm Me, No More Complaining and a
snippet of Wait A Minute. DOWNLOAD SPLIT PERSONALITY SAMPLER JOJO'S READY TO RELEASE HER 2ND SINGLE Jojo's
second single from her second album "The High Road" (in stores now!) is
the Swizz Beatz produced "The Way You Do Me". I like the song, but
there are better jams in her album. That album is pure hotness! Her
voice is getting better and better with time (is it possible improve
from what she is right now? he he). Despite not being so HOT, the song
shows off her vocals, so I guess I forgive her for chosing it, he he.
My favorites songs on the album are the lead single "Too Little, Too
Late", the Scott Storch produced "This Time", "Anything" and the "The
High Road". The latter one is the best song of the album...she really
needs to release that as a single! I loved it from the start, and she
hits some high notes....she left me speechless... I don't know if
this album will be a success, in fact, it's expected to sell 100.000
copies in the first week (which is terrible by the way). The album must
have an incredible material, but that doesen't guarantee success...look
at talentless Cassie reaching gold status and Kelis' amazing album
flopping, but one thing I'm sure about is that JoJo will last for long
in the music game...she will have her ups and downs (like everybody
else has)...but if you have such and incredible voice at 15...imagine
later... DOWNLOAD THE WAY YOU DO ME Enjoy Dan

DELETE THE ORIGINAL MESSAGE HE HE...YOU KNOW..SHIT HAPPENS!
Teairra Mari posted a new song on her myspace account named M.O.N.E.Y.
To my surprise that song was the same song another girl Janielle sang.
There's no big difference between the voices in my opinion, and both
tracks features Shawnna, the only thingd that has been changed are the
song's lyrics and title. This is not her first single though, and
she doesen't even know if it will be included in her much anticipated
second album "Second Round" (whose first single may be "Play Me") DOWNLOAD CAUGHT HIM LOOKIN' (JANIELLE) LISTEN M.O.N.E.Y (TEAIRRA MARI) Whose version you consider the hottest? TAMIA MOST ADDED IN THE USA As
you can see in the pic, Tamia is the most added! I'm really happy for
her and hope that the song becomes a hit. "Can't Get Enough" is far the
best song of the album, which is amazing in my opinion. She really
deserves to get more regocnition cus she's one of the most talented
R&B singers out there. The album contains production from Darkchild
and Shep Crawford. Here's the official tracklisting for the USA release of the album: 01) The Way I Love U 02) Happy 03) Almost 04) Too Grown For That 05) Me 06) Can't Get Enough 07) Day Dreamin' 08) Sittin' On The Job 09) Last First Kiss 10) Why Can't It Be 11) When A Woman 12) Become Us 13) Have To Go Through It 14) Protect My Heart 15) Love And I Release Date: 11/14/06 I'm
glad the USA version includes 4 extra tracks and I can't wait to hear
them. The new joints are Almost, Sittin' On The Job, Become Us and Have
To Go Through It. I still wonder why the hell she released the album
first only in South Africa, but I heard she is gold right there so that
was not a silly move. DOWNLOAD CAN'T GET ENOUGH (TAMIA) SHAREEFA'S POINT OF NO RETURN COVER This
is the official cover for Shareefa's debut album "Point Of No Return".
It's not what I'd call an amazing cover (like Goapele's Change It All)
but it sure has its style. Expect the second part of the international downloads very soon! Enjoy Dan

INTRODUCING
KEV SAMPLES

Kev Samples, a 25 year old R&B crooner raised on the outskirts
of Atlanta, is quickly earning the One to watch label. Blessed with a
vocal range that crosses between Usher and John Legend and a style
distinctively his own, Samples is set to put the music industry on
notice with his debut CD, The Rush which will be released on his label
Outlandish Entertainment and distributed by Universal Music. Screaming
for More is slated for a fall 2006 release date and includes 12 tracks
which Kev wrote. Kev states, R&B needs MORE. More Fun, More
Excitement, More Energy. I want to put a fire under the entire R&B
game and CHALLENGE them to start doing more. Lets OWN labels and
clothing lines. Lets get shoes deals.just like rappers.
Kev is currently putting todays top male R&B vocalists on notice
with his Death of R&B mixtape, which has the full backing of
G-Units DJ Whoo Kid, 50 cents personal DJ. The mixtape serves as a
prelude to Kevs vocal ability & talent as he rehashed tracks from
the likes of Jaime Fox, Trey Songz and Omarion. Several popular artists
such as Ne-Yo, T-Pain and Ray J fall victim to verbal jabs from the
R&B up and comer.
Kev Samples did not always dream of becoming the next R&B
sensation. While growing up outside of Atlanta under a single parent
environment, Kevs first priorities were to get an education to help
provide a better life for his mother and younger siblings. Kev earned a
Bachelor of Science in Chemistry from the University of Georgia. But it
was his experience in college as the campus R&B sensation that Kev
began to take his music to another level. Kevs reputation grew so much
that he began opening for heavyweights such as 112, Outkast and
Ludacris. Armed with a college degree and a taste for entertainment,
Samples began handling business affairs for his cousin and NBA number
one pick, Dwight Howard. Samples states, Working with Dwight opened my
eyes to the entertainment industry and made me want to pursue music as
a full time career.
CEO/artist of Outlandish Entertainment and being endorsed by one of
the biggest names in the music industry, Samples is poised to make his
presence felt in the music business.

Beautiful, Talented, Sophisticated. Three words that describe

god-given talent of a four-octave voice only accentuates the incredible
performing talents that have led her to become the next signing to 55

MUSSAS - NO TE ENTERAS

This is a new song by a new spanish R&B girl group.
Mussas are gettin' ready to release their debut album and I really wish
them the best. Can we call this the first chapter of the big impact of
R&B in Latin America & Spain? We'll see...I indeed hope so.

MILA J - NO MORE COMPLAINING

Will
this girl achieve some success or go her sister's route (Jhene) and
have her album shelved. Both singles Complete & Good Lookin' Out
(Featuring Marques Houston) flopped, and TUG Records decided not to
give up and release this as the third single off her soon to drop (I
hope so) debut album "Split Personality". The song is ok, not a
standout. She doesen't have any standout but I don't know why, I'd cop
her album. She has something (besides her beautiful body), a special
formula to add to the so overcrowded female R&B market. But it
seems that people aren't feeling her, maybe she can score a minor hit
with this...

SHAREEFA

I am so addicted to this
singer, that I decided to put all of the songs I got from her in a
file. So we can call it an "album sampler", can't we? The songs I
included are her first single "Need A Boss", the Darkchild produced
"Cry No More", "Take My Shine" and tracks taken from compilations
"Phoney" and "I'll Be Around". I can't wait for the album to be
released and leaked. I love her voice and I really hope that "Need A
Boss" does justice for her. The other day I read her bio...did you know
that she was involved in some problems including stolen cars &
drougs...well...this may not be new in the Hip-Hop world...but R&B
females singers don't tend to have that kind of turbid past...can you
imagine Beyoncé or Christina Milian thuggin' in the streets?!
Mmmm...NOPE! he he
