ELISABETH WITHERS BLUE NOTE VIDEO: BE WITH YOU RATING: 9/10 Even though I barely knew something about Elisabeth Withers before checking her cd, the first track Simple Things gave me a clue that I was listening a true talent. This new R&B artist (signed to Blue Note Records, home of Norah Jones)
has a debut album that speaks by itself. She can sing sexy jams without
sounding Ciaraish and deliver emotional songs as well. What more can we
ask?! We maybe found the perfect competitor for Heather Headley.
I really couldn't found a track I disliked. The albums is not a
masterpiece, but to see albums like these released in January it's
fills me of big expectations of what's to come in 2007! A lot of
songs are driven by guitars, which is amazing, considering that
nowadays in R&B we are used to the syhtns-produced beats. Heartstrings, Listen, It Can Happen, Get Your Shoes On (My Jam!!) and Sweat are some of the amazing joints you will find in this amazing effort. Since I really want her to success, I will only post her first single, the amazing Be With You which is already a top 40 hit in Billboard R&B Charts. Don't forget to tell me what you think about her! DOWNLOAD BE WITH YOU VISIT MYSPACE I got Eamon's new album Love & Pain! As always, I didn't check it properly but it doesen't seem to be a HOT album, I think I was expecting more cus I love Bring Him Home, but these comments are maybe wrong cus I only checked it once.
The album was released in some countries of Europe some time ago, the
States release date was pushed back due to the single poor reception. (Check the comments) I also got the advanced version of Marques Houston's third album Veteran.
I'd say half advanced cus only half of the tracks are indeed part of
the project. Anyways, get it cus there are some hot joint which are not
going to be on the album like the rockish Come And Get It Featuring Twista. (Check the comments) Enjoy Dan

What's
up crazy people! Well, it seems I'm addicted to reviewing albums now,
cus I will make an all-review post today he he, but don't worry. I'm
working hard on the downloads section and I got great things for ya,
but as I said, I still don't know how I will post them!
CIARA
JIVE RECORDS VIDEO: PROMISE, GET UP RATING: 5,5/10

After selling more than 3 million copies with her debut Goodies, Ciara is back with a new album titled The Evolution. Nice title, but it's sad that her new music sounds everything but evolved. Productions credits include heavywaights Will I Am, Darkchild, Lil' Jon and Pollow Da Don among others. The
problem with this album is that most of the songs sound alike, too much
electro-R&B, and it made me miss the hot songs she released back in
2004. There are not big hits like Goodies, Ooh or amazing ballads like And I. Like A Boy is far one of the best things on The Evolution, Promise is hot too and very original, Can't Leave 'Em Alone is a typical Darkchild production which ends up working and 50 cent's verse on it works too . Make It Last Forever and I'm Just Me are cool songs too. On the other hand, we have the horrible That's Right, a Lil' Jon
produced joint (which sets off with Jon screaming with his ugly voice)
and to make matters worse, it's the first track on the album!. The rest
are all upbeat tracks with no personality and the same formula.
Maybe the only one I like of all them is I Proceed while Bang It Up and Get In, Fit In are all bad and unnecessary fillers. Ciara really suffered from the sophomore slump, but I know she won't let me down with her third effort!
SHAREEFA
DISTURBING THA PEACE VIDEO: NEED A BOSS, CRY NO MORE RATING: 7/10

Shareefa, dubbed THE SOUL of Disturbing Tha Peace released her debut album Point Of No Return back in October. I was really looking forward to hearing this album cus Need A Boss
was one of my favorites songs of 2006! Even though the first single is
R&B-pop destined to caught mainstream audiences, I knew that the
rest of the album would be more classic R&B sounding. I'm not
saying by any means that she's the new Mary J, but it's clear that she can't be compared to Ciara, Beyonce or Kelis. Second single Cry No More is another Darkchild production. The song can be named Need A Boss( Part 2) in my opinion, she should've left that joint outside the album and not release it! Butterfly is one of the best songs, nothing better than powerful ballad and already chosen as the third single. No One Said and You Told Me are strong songs too. Basically, the best of the album is in the first half. She gets kinda stuck in the second half, even though you have the amazing duet with Bobby Valentino Hey Babe (Need Ya Lovin'), a very soulful joint. The only track I really hate and can't stand it is Phony! The chorus is way too repetitive... Coming to an end, Shareefa put out a good album but I'm sure she can deliver a much consistent effort, AND she didn't surpass Keyshia Cole (which is in my opinion her archi-rival he he)
SUNSHINE ANDERSON
WORLD MUSIC VIDEO: SOMETHING I WANNA GIVE YOU RATING: 7,5/10

After a 6 year hiatus, Sunshine Anderson's second album Sunshine At Midnight was released. Her debut was pretty good, and the single Heard It All Before was hot (despite the so overused lyrics). The album kicks off with the first single Something I Wanna Give You, a nice song which lacks excitement. Through the album I found good tracks and fillers, but it was a nice experience! Good Love, Switch It Up, Problems and My Whole Life are strong songs. There are no big mistakes, but the Raphael Saadiq penned and produced track Wear The Crown is boring, while Force Of Nature
should be the great ballad but ends up being just ok. She should
concentrate next time on making the slow jams better. The last track
(which gives name to the album) is hot too, and appropiate to close the
joint. Overall it's a very good album, I recommend it to you if you enjoyed her first album.
Enjoy

A lot of people might be surprised to find out that Lumidee (yes, that girl who can't sing and had a mega hit with Never Leave U back in 2003) entered the Billboard Hot 100 this week with She's Like The Wind (Featuring Tony Sunshine). The song is hot, thank god she raps and not sings. She's signed to TVT records now (Lil' Jon, Teedra Moses label)
and her second album will be released sometime this year. I must admit
that I'm somehow looking forward to hearing what she has to offer. She
was really right when she said "nobody thought I would come back, and
here I am back again", I wonder what all that people who said she was
over are gonna say now he he. Okay, the girl can't sing but she's
working hard, she is where she is because of something (apart from
being Big Pun's niece he he) I
really predicted her comeback, even though she was never really gone.
She's been doing it in the reggaeton scene. Her collaboration with
rapper Speedy Sientelo, was a massive hit in Europe and sold close to 1 million copies, she was also featured in songs by Big Mato.
Her image really improved (I'd do her now he he) and the new song
is far better than her old material (her debut album had songs that
scared me!) Let's see what future holds for Lumidee! OMARION TUG VIDEO: ENTOURAGE, ICEBOX RATING: 8/10 Omarion is back with a new album named 21. Even though his debut wasn't that great, I had high expectations for this one cus Entourage is a nice song and Icebox is more than amazing. And well, apart from that, having The Underdogs, The Neptunes, Timbaland, Bryan Michael Cox, Sean Garett and Marques Houston on your album makes a difference. Well,
the album is hot, not saying that all the tracks are on fire, but there
are some which are very original and it feels like this album suits him
perfectly as an artist. He didn't call the producers and asked just for
hot tracks, it's more than that, he worked hard and sometimes found a
new sound. It's almost impossible to forget Do It after a few listens, and Electric deserves to be mentioned too (it's already a fan favorite). Omarion did it this time, and he didn't let down with the sophomore album like many did (Ciara).
Lastly,
I read what Toya wrote about labels going hard at blogs for posting
unauthorized mp3s for download, so I'm thinking what the hell I should
do with the music I upload...maybe I will ask for e-mails and send it
like I did some time ago with Danity Kane...I have a lot of cool things
in store Enjoy Dan

T Pain's new single may be Snappin' (Featuring Yung Joc), Buy You A Drink or Froze (Featuring Akon and produced by Lil' Jon) His second album R&M: Rhythm & Music is expected to come out in March. I read that Froze
is the first track he doesen't use the vocoder, and I can't wait to
hear what his voice sounds like without an effect, cus his album was
full of them he he. His debut album was not the best. I'm Sprung was a good track, and I'm In Love
was okay, the rest of the album was original but it lacked the
catchiness. He should try working with some producers outside the
Konvict Camp. I don't think Lil' Jon is the best choice though, some
Scott Storch and Raphael Saadiq wouldn't hurt!
It is official! Paula DeAnda's third single is the Danja produced song Easy. The track is amazing, very very catchy and it features Lil' Wayne
(whose verse is on fire). I see this song doing very good in the
charts, and hopefully it will help her to push sales. So far, the album
has sold 120.000 copies since its' release. Go everybody and cop that album, it's amazing. You have everything, from ballads and mid-tempos to bangas, hot producers (Stargate, Happy Perez, Frankie J), talented writers (Sean Garett, Ne-Yo, Christina Milian) & great collabos (Baby Bash, Ak' Sent).
DOWNLOAD EASY
Kelis seems to be suffering from multi-single releases. Not so long ago, her second U.S. single (which flopped) Blindfold Me was released. In Europe, Lil' Star
is scheduled to be released as the second single in February, the video
is already on MTV. It's a nice video, simplish and with not so much
production but it's ok! And now, some sources confirm that the Scott Storch produced song Trilogy
will be the third single in the Usa. The song is amazing, but I feel
that she's not the right singer to sing it. She is better at other kind
of songs. Anyways, the story doesen't end here cus I also read that the
Cool&Dre produced Goodbyes is supposed to follow Blindfold Me in the Usa, so it's a mess he he! It's really a shame that Kelis Was Here
flopped in the Usa cus even though it's not as good as any of her
previous albums, (I know I said it a zillion times) it's innovative and
has everything for everybody!
R&B supastar Ginuwine is coming back in February with his sophomore album I Apologize (horrid title). He's no longer signed to Epic Records and is now with Sicness. That album deserves to be checked, his last album Back 2 Basics was hot (even though a lot of people hated it) but it was such a flop!

01 Intro 02 Can't Deny 03 I Apologize 04 Stutter 05 My Mind 06 Why? 07 Happy At Home Featuring I-Rocc 08 Like Me Featuring Loon & G-Dep 09 Twerk 10 I Apologize Featuring Smigg Dirtee 11 Outro
The
cover is okay I suppose, can't really comment on the tracklisting, only
11 tracks (including intro and outro) but I dunno why it doesen't look
like the final tracklisting.
Another artists signed to Sicness records (through Mike City's label Umbrella) is Tweet. She's hard at work finishing her third album, which containt productions from...guess who...Mike City (Shanice, Sunshine Anderson), he he. I know you were all expecting Missy! But...this time around she's not involved in the project. Thank god cus her chemistry with Tweet only worked for her debut Southern Hummingbird, her last album was pretty weak and it flopped badly! (the song Cab Ride was excellent thou) I really don't know who is she working with (apart from City) but I'd be so happy to hear Timbaland on it, he did an amazing job in 2002 when he produced Call Me, that was my jam, loved the southern vibe and her debut album was A-M-A-Z-I-N-G
Yesterday Sunshine Anderson's second album Sunshine At Midnight
was released! My god! She took nothing but 6 years to come back! Can't
wait to hear this album, if someone can send it to me it'd be great!
She has Dr. Dre, Raphael Saadiq and Mike City on there. Yesterday I read an interview in which she explained the situation with her ex-label Soulife. After
her deal with Soulife was over, she signed with Atlantic (it wasn't
hard cus she had sold around 800.000 copies). While she was working on
her second album, it started the trouble with Atlantic Records (a lot
of artists got lost like Tamia)
and she was told to wait 1 year for the release of the second album,
she didin't agree, left and became a free agent again. And well, she
ended up in Mathew Knowles'
label, but she says it was hard to get a new deal cus after leaving
Atlantic nobody was interested in her cus she'd been away for a long
time. Extra: Macy Gray is not longer her manager!
Lil' Mo Is back ya'll! and more than ready to release her third album There's Something About Me in March (love the cover) After a third shelved album on Cash Money (Syndicated: the Lil' Mo Hour), the singer signed with Mike Jones' Ice Age Entertainment (which is rumored to be home to Nicole Wray too) and recorded the new album. Producers chosen for this project include Stargate, Sean Garett, Jazze Pha, Ne-Yo and collaborations with Melody (of the PCD), D4L and Mike Jones. I'm so anticipating this release, even though I only have her first album, I can say she is amazing! Based On A True Story is such a good album! Extra: She didn't collaborate with Fabolous for this project...that's really strange he he.
Well,
this is all for today. I'm going to a shop in 10 minutes (I'm sitting
on the job now he he) cus I saw 3 imported R&B albums at a VERY low
prize...Ray J (This Ain't A Game), Allure (Sunny Days) and Estelle (The 18th Day). Tomorrow or later I'll tell you If I liked them or not.
And...very soon: Omarion's album review New Interviews (I won't tell you now, if you want to know who I interviewed check this blog everyday he he) Album downloads
Enjoy

Remember Toya? (the singer, not the blogger he he). She had some success in 2001 with her song I Do!!
and toped the Billboard Heatseekers chart with her self titled debut.
The album was considered one of the best urban efforts of 2001 by All
Music Guide, and I really agree, the shit is hot to death. Well, luckily I could contact Ms. Toya and interviewed her!
SOULBROTHA FIRST INTERVIEW
TOYA
 Soulbrotha:
It's been 5 years and a half since your debut album was released. And
all your fans are wondering where you are. What've you been doing?
Toya: I took some time off to travel. I live in ATL now. I've been in the studio some...just trynah get back out there
Soulbrotha:
Everybody knows the big problem Arista Records had and the L.A Reid
thing, what was the the real situation you went through with the label?
only 2 singles (I Do!! and No Matta What) were released from the album
and rumor has it that you're not longer signed. Have u been dropped or
decided to leave?
Toya: I
had a great time with Arista...and L.A. is a very amazing person to
work for. My production company lost their deal with Arista and I got
caught in the middle. The business side of music can be tough!!! Still,
in was a great experience!
Soulbrotha: You became a mother, and I saw pics of you with your son and your husband and you seem to be very happy! Is your family an inspiration when it comes to music or you prefer to write about other kind of stuff?
Toya: My
family defineatly inspires me. Really, I like to write about things
I've been thru....And it turns out WE all go thru a lot of the same
things!
Soulbrotha:
You worked with Soulshock & Karlin on your debut. How was it
working with them? Are you planning to hook up with them again? What
other top producers are you hoping to work with?
Toya: Soulshock
and Karlin were amazing!!! I LOVED working with them. They made me feel
very comfortable with them and it was always lots of fun being in the
studio with them!!!! Really, I just LOVE hot tracks!!! I don't really
scout out 'names'....just tracks:)
Soulbrotha:
Are you signed to a new label or working on new stuff? If you do, don't
you think 2007 will be a very competitive year for you since a lot of
singers who debuted in 2001 are coming back (Blu Cantrell, Sunshine
Anderson, Olivia)?
Toya:
Right now, I'm currently looking for a new situation... I've been in
the studio and still working on locking down a hot single! Competition
is ALWAYS out there!!! Not just artists from 2001 but even NEW
artists!! The important thing is to PAY attention to you own career.
Soulbrotha: Now, going back to your debut album, which is amazing in my opinion. Which song would you pick as your favorite and why?
Toya: I Do!! because it's the first song I recorded. It started my career and I loved working with the producer, Ghost! Soulbrotha:
You worked with a lot of people like T.I, Loon, Penelope, Murphy Lee.
Can we expect a hot collaboration in the future with these rappers or
others?
Toya: I really enjoy collaborating with other artists....we'll see what the future holds.Soulbrotha: What cds are currently in your player? Do you think 2006 was a good year for R&B?
Toya: Beyonce....Still, the Rap and Rock world ruled 2006!!! We need MORE R&B to jump back out there! Well, thank you for taking your time to answer my questions! Good luck and I support you NO MATTA WHAT!

These are some of the songs I've been playing today! CASELY - 808 This
Miami guy has an addictive song. I love the beat and his vocals are
pretty good. I've never heard of him before and I came across his
myspace today. DOWNLOAD 808
MASHONDA (FEATURING 808) - CAN'T HANDLE ME I read somewhere that this was the first single from Mashonda's new album, but it's very clear that it's not. Mashonda only sings the chorus, and the rest is all 808. Anyways, the song is hot and it was produced by non other than Just Blaze. The chorus is very catchy, the only thing I didn't like is that you can't hear her solo voice in the chorus.
DOWNLOAD CAN'T HANDLE ME
JOE - IF I WAS YOUR MAN
This mid-tempo joint is the second single from Joe's much anticipated album Who Is Joe Thomas and I really don't know who produced the song cus I read Stargate, Sean Garett and Walter Scott
(if someone can clear this up it will be much appreciated he he). The
song is okay, at first I thought it would be amazing, but it got stuck
in the middle. It's nice but I don't think that it should be released
as the second single, I'm sure that there are better songs on the album.
DOWNLOAD IF I WAS YOUR MAN
MARQUES HOUSTON - CIRCLE

After flopping with Favorite Girl, Marques Houston
is hoping to make it wih this beautiful ballad. I love the song, and
the vocals are on point (like always) but I don't know if it's radio
friendly and I really don't think it will make justice for him. His
third album Veteran containts collaborations with Yung Joc, Mya & Shawnna, and is expected to drop in the first quarter of 2007.
DOWNLOAD CIRCLE
NATASHA (FEATURING CLIPSE) - SO SICK

I already knew I hated this song, but I decided that I'd give her a chance and checked it once again! The beat is average (Darkchild disappointed me) but her vocals in this song are so weak. It's like she's trying to copy the singing style of Ciara in Goodies. Anyways, I'm looking forward to hearing more from her cus her song Hey Hey Hey is hot. DOWNLOAD SO SICK
Enjoy

FANTASIA
J RECORDS VIDEO: HOOD BOY
RATING: 8.5/10

I've been jamming to Fantasia's
second album for the past 3 weeks. I must admit that I was pretty
excited about this album before checking it even though her debut Free Yourself wasn't that wow to me. The idea of Urban Rock (like she described the new sound), made me impatient and curious. First single Hood Boy
is just what I was expecting, the perfect example of Urban Rock in my
opinion. The song is sexy, hot, rockish, aggressive, dirty and Big Boi does his thing blazing his rhymes to the song. Fantasia has that strange voice that adds the personality to every song, and the production is on point. But, if you are not into the first single, don't worry cus she has better jams. When I See U is catchy and beautiful from start to finish and is the perfect contender for the second single prize, Not The Way That I Do has that powerful chorus, Nominate U is R&B at its best and I'm Not That Type
has a Crazysexyasskickin' beat plus Fantasia killing vocals. The
track is very different from the sound she chose for the album,
but you can't complain. The other tracks are amazing too, but
these were the highlights. This is definitely an improvement over her debut album and shows us why she is nothing but the Winner of American Idol. KESHIA CHANTÉ - 2U
SONY/BMG CANADA VIDEO: 2U, BEEN GONE RATING: 7.5/10 Canadian R&B artist Keshia Chanté released her second album 2U in December. I took my time and checked it during my holidays and I still see myself playing it. Been Gone
(the first single) simples Vivaldi's 4 Winter Seasons and the result is
nothing but amazing, the title track is cool but forgettable and half
of the tracks are fillers. I'm not saying that it's a bad album by any
means, Summer Love is one of the best songs, even though you try you just can't hate on Stomp, Kiss has that so overused hit formula. Fallen is hot but if you want to incluye a rapper in your song it could be someone better than Freeway and Little Things is the obvious solo piano song, which is very nice by the way! Her voice is pretty good (I find it similar to Monica's),
she has potential, at only 18 she has 2 albums and a national R&B
star tatus in her homeland, famous producers in the album are Happy Perez (Frankie J, Eamon), singer Shawn Desman, Danja (Paula DeAnda, Justin) who produced Too Much and Rockwilder, who produced and wrote Can't Believe with the help of Yummy Bingham (who also wrote Be About Yours). RUBEN STUDDARD - THE RETURN J RECORDS VIDEO: CHANGE ME RATING: 6/10 The amazing American Idol runner-up Ruben Studdard released his third album on December. The debut album Soulful was hot and included productions from Kanye West and The Underdogs among
others. This time I really don't know what producers he chose (apart
from Scott Storch), but the case is that the material is not as good as
it used to be. The ballads (which are the majority of the album) are
kinda boring. I liked some of them, but the best tracks are not the
low-tempo. The only tracks I can listen without skipping are Ain't No Party, What Tha Business and Make Ya Feel Beautiful (which happens to be the second single). Anyways, it could be worse cus at least he has an amazing voice, which makes it more enjoyable and less painful, imagine Ray J singing those ballads! I wouldn't say that The Return is a bad album, but after checking Soulful, I cannot say this is the best material he could've delivered. I
will be posting great stuff very soon, albums that are hard to get! And
I got news...regarding MY musical career he he (which never started)! I
will be heading to the studio next week and start working on my songs!
The first one I'm planning to record is the mid-tempo Came Back 4 U!
Stay tuned cus My Space will be launched very soon with the material! Enjoy Dan

Well, as you can see I'm back! I hope you all had fun and started the new year the best way! I left the blog abandoned some time, and I must admit that I haven't taken my time to update it properly for the past 3 or 4 months, it turned into a torture to have my blog updated, and that was the last thing I wanted. But I'm back and ready to take this to another level, I want to write more often, cus in the end it's what I enjoy but you know, sometimes you're between job, and other things. I want to make it more enjoyable for you (readers), I don't want this to be just another blog, where you can go and just search for downloads, I want this to have its style and personality, just like Toya and Monica and a lot out there. Well, 2007! It's crazy! We will have an incredible year in R&B! Amerie is hard at work on her third album Because I Love It which to my surprise does not contain any production from Rich Harrison. Is she trying to follow Kelis steps? Mmm, it didn't work for Ms. Jones, let's see if it does for Amerie. First single Take Control iis kewl, but I'm expecting a big record. Touch was an amazing album.

Mario is comino back with his third album Go which includes collaborations with the hottest beatmakers in the industry. Stargate, Pollow Da Don, Bryan Michael Cox among others! I will be definetly buying that shit! He's far better than his competitors Ne-Yo, Sammie & Chris Brown in terms of vocal abilities.

The amazing and supa talented Teedra Moses is coming back too. That album The Young Lioness is something I indeed can't wait for! Complex Simplicity is a classic and everytime I hear it I love it more and more! Word has it that she's working with Scott Storch. Trey Songz, Raphael Saadiq and Jadakiss are confirmed guests on the album.

Musiq is expected to drop too. Some tracks have been circulating in the web. One of them being Buddy, which is HOT!
Joe is working too on his sophomore shit. A track featuring Papoose was in the charts not so long ago.

Chris Brown is working on his second album Graduation, and I'm expecting something better than his debut. I enjoyed it but it could've been a lot better. 2006 was a huge year for him, almost 2 million copies sold, 4 hit singles, and a fifth one without a video making it in the charts too.

The one and only Brandy is also working hard on her as yet untitled fifth album. I will be getting that album too. Afrodisiac was amazing, it's really sad that it didn't recieve the attention it deserved. Too bad that Timbaland is not included in the upcoming project. He reported that he lost interest in it, but Rich Harrison, Bryan Michael Cox, Darkchild & The Neptunes are still there so I know I shouldn't worry bout the material quality, and It's Brandy, no matta what producers she chose the shit is always HOT.

Macy Gray is working with Will I Am and Outkast! That fourth album, named BIG, will hopefully be as its' title. Her carrer has been falling downhill, but maybe she pull it off a la Mariah and come back hard! That raspy voice needs to be heared everywhere!

Boy band Ahmir will release their album The Gift very soon. I'm still wondering why the hell they're unsigned! Really looking forward to that shit, their voices are fiyah and the songs are hot too. They managed to go top 5 in Billboard single sales, so imagine where would they be if they had label support!

Ashanti is another comeback I am highly anticipating. She's working with a lot of producers and I don't know why I feel that her fourth album Incredible is going to be Hot! Snoop Dogg and The Neptunes are helping her to bring da hotness back! Her last album Concrete Rose was okay, but I don't know what was she thinking (or her label) when Don't Let Them was released as the second single...one of the weakest tracks! Everybody knew that Don't Leave Me Alone was THE HIT! I really hope she doesen't suffer from bad ass decissions again!

Following Ashanti, is her ex labelmate Lloyd, who left The Inc and joined Jazze Pha's Sho'Nuff Entertainment, and scored a hit with You (a collaboration with Lil' Wayne). His second album Ghetto Story is expected to hit stores in the first quarter of 2007. He doesen't have THE voice but I like his sound, looking forward to that shit!

Usher is coming back with the followup to the mega-seller Confessions. Thank god that Jermaine is involved in the project. It'll be difficult tu surpass the sales he enjoyed in 2004, and to score the numer of hits, but only God knows if he will do it. Keyshia Cole is working on her second effort Tears From A Soldier with Poke&Tone, Darkchild, Cool&Dre among others. I can't wait for that album she betta hurry up. A Darkchild produced track leaked and even though it's hot and I love the beat is not as hot as her previous hot, she will have to work her ass off to put out a better sophomore album cus the debut was amazing!
Silena Murrell (for you Mo) is releasing her debut album in 2007 too! I became addicted to this girl, her song Bring It Home is amazing and other jams like One Life and Dying To Tell U fill me of BIG expectations of what's to come.
Kelly Rowland will release her second album Miss Kelly in April, and the album contains production from Sean Garett, Bryan Michael Cox and collabos with Snoop Dogg. I really can't wait for that album, and I know I might be hated for saying this...but Kelly sings better than Beyonce.
Other artists who are expected to drop in 2007 include Chilli (from TLC), Tweet, Rihanna, Mya, Timbaland, Nivea, Nina Sky, Lumidee, Trey Songz, Sterling, Latif, Nelson, Uness, Lea, Cherish, Sunshine Anderson, Nicole Scherzinger, Anisha Nicole, Katherine McPhee, Michelle Williams, Emme, Mariah Carey, Whitney (who knows), Sabrina, Su-Elise, Alesha, Jessi Malay, Q. Amey and many more! Some artists got stuck in 2006, but are hoping to release their albums in 2007, let's see:

Black Buddafly are not so right in this category, cus they appeared in mid-2005! But they're still around, and maybe they put out a third single before releasing their long-awaited debut album. They recently posted a new song in their myspace, be sure to check that out!
Mashonda is hard at work on her second (first in the Usa) album Back To Business, her debut January Joy got shelved and turned out to be a Japan only release. It's a shame cus the album had some great tracks.

Olivia's Behind Closed Doors was shelved too, but a new project Second Chance was brought to life and she's now ready to make it. Rumor has it that she will be appearing in Keyshia Cole's new album, that sounds so interesting and odd! A J.R. Rottem produced track My Daddy leaked some time ago and it's nice but not exciting.
Marques Houston's Veteran was delayed due to the first single Favorite Girl poor reception, unfortunately Mila J suffered the same luck (or worse) cus her album Split Personality was dealayed or maybe shelved just like her sister Jhene. None of the songs released managed to make an impact (Complete, Good Lookin' Out & No More Complaining)

Girl group Missez' Love Song only managed to peak somewhere between the 50's in the R&B charts, and their album Get Ready was delayed to 2007. They're currently working on new songs, and are featured in Lil' Fizz single Fluid. 17 year-old Megan Rochell's debut album Me, You & The Radio, was also pushed back. There's still no word on which song will be the second single after the Darkchild produced The One You Need but Rottem and Ryan Leslie are confirmed producers on the project.

Jamaican dancehall artist Tamy Chynn's ass was ignored, as well as her song Hyperventilating. Will 2007 be a good year for her? I hope so! I love her vocals, and her part in All On Me (Sean Paul track) is on fire.
Prince protegeé Tamar Davis will be releasing her debut album Milk & Honey very soon too. She worked a lot with producer Kwamé and judging from what I heard, the shit is going to be hot hot!

Brooke Valentine tried to come back in the second half of 2006, but the single D-Girl recieved poor airplay. Her second album Physical Education is scheduled for a March release, almost 2 years after her debut album Chain Letter. Expect collaborations with Deja, Dem Franchize Boys, Scott Storch and Tyrese among others. Well, I know I must be forgeting a lot of artists, but these are the highlights to me. I didn't include Michael Jackson cus I don't believe that 2007 will see him releasing new music. Maybe we can ask Will I Am who is working with him!
Enjoy and expect cool things in Soulbrotha coming very soon!
